Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
